RETURN POLICY FOR IN-STORE PURCHASES

The following return policy applies only to purchases made at one of our Sports Experts stores in Canada or Atmosphere stores in Quebec. If you have made a purchase online at sportsexperts.ca please refer to the Online Purchases Return Policy.

Sports Experts / Atmosphere In-store return

Return any new, unused and unworn item purchased online or in store in its original packaging, with your receipt, to any Sports Experts and Atmosphere store near you.

If the returned item is not in new, unused or unworn condition, we reserve the right to refuse the return and the refund.

What products are excluded?

  • Jock straps, mouth protectors and facial coverings / masks. Additionally, socks, swimsuits, undergarments, sports bras, biking shorts and headphones.
  • Certified climbing equipment, such as carabiners and connectors, slings, protections, ropes, harnesses, quickdraws, safety and belay devices.

Please note that our return policy has been extended for the holiday season. All purchases made between October 28 and December 24, 2024 may be exchanged or returned for a refund until January 5, 2025.

  • New merchandise and original packaging.
  • No exchange or refund on December 26 and 27, 2024.
  • EXCEPTION TO OUR RETURN POLICY: During a promotional offer that includes a card with your purchase, please note that in the case of a refund or exchange, the card must be returned in-store. If the card is returned, the store will proceed with a refund for the full amount of the purchase. In the event that a portion of the card has been used, the amount will be deducted from the refund amount. If the promotional card is not returned, we will proceed with the refund, however the full amount of the card will be deducted from the refund.

Can I return or exchange an item in store during Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals?

Due to traffic in our stores during these sale days, no return or exchange will be accepted in store between November 29 to December 2, 2024.

What are the return fees?

No fees.

How are refunds processed in store?

We are happy to refund any new, unused and unworn item in its original packaging, upon presentation of the original cash receipt, within 15 days of its purchase at any Sports Experts store in Canada or Atmosphere store in Quebec. All refunds will be made in the same form as the original payment.

If the returned item is not in new, unused and unworn condition, we reserve the right to refuse the return and the refund.

What is the refund processing time?

Returns in store are processed immediately to the credit card or debit card. In some rare occasions, it can take a few days to appear on your account.

How are exchanges processed in store?

We are happy to exchange any new, unused and unworn item in its original packaging, upon presentation of the original cash receipt, within 30 days of its purchase at any Sports Experts store in Canada or Atmosphere store in Quebec.

We recommend contacting a store to confirm availability of an item before your visit. Store inventory is updated every hour on our website. For this reason, there may be discrepancies during store hours. Also, note that inventory may vary from one store to another.

Can I return something that I bought on sale?

Yes, it is possible to return an item that was purchased at a discount or on clearance while respecting our return policy.


Sports Experts Mirabel Outlets return

Purchases made in our Outlets stores, such as Sports Experts Outlets Mirabel, must be returned or exchanged at the original store. The return and exchange policy for our outlets stores is as follows:

  • Refunds are possible within 15 days of purchase with the receipt.
  • Exchanges are possible within 30 days of purchase with the receipt.

The items must be new, in their original packaging, with the tags still attached. Products that are not eligible for returns or exchanges remain the same as those listed in our regular policy.


Warranties

For online orders and store purchases: please visit a Sports Experts and Atmosphere store near you to inquire about our suppliers’ warranty policy.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper use and accidental breakage. Hockey stick breakage during normal use will be subject to the manufacturer’s limited 30-day warranty (only in Sports Experts stores in Canada).


Layaways

An item may be set aside for 15 days with a deposit equal to 20% of the purchase value before taxes. The deposit is reimbursable within the 15 days following the original layaway transaction.


Services shop

Upon presentation of the original cash receipt, initial binding installation and adjustments to alpine skis, cross-country skis, snowboards, initial skate sharpening and more will be provided free of charge by our qualified technicians at any Sports Experts in Canada or Atmosphere store in Quebec.
